FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: rubber cable band has teeth, formed by cut welted edges of the band, and forms at least one longitudinal ribbing in the central part. The method of manufacture of the rubber cable band comprises its roll stock through a set of welted rollers, where at least one longitudinal ribbing in the central part is formed, incisions at the band edges are made and incisions of band edges are bent with teeth formation. At roll stock through a set of welted rollers the lateral faces are formed.
EFFECT: transverse strength of the band is improved, the process of manufacture becomes simpler and the fabricability of rubber cable band manufacture is improved.
