FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to articles which retain good colour during repeated heat treatment. The article contains a polyester phase which makes up at least 80 wt % of the composition of the article and contains a sulphonated polyester, at least 1 wt % polyamide and a stabiliser. The amount of the stabiliser is at least 100 parts per million parts of the article, where at least 2 wt % of the total amount of the stabiliser is present in the polyester phase. The article is in form of granules, fibre, thread, sheet, film, preform, bottle, crushed flakes or a cube.
EFFECT: invention reduces intensification of yellow colour during repeated heat treatment of the article.
