FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: method of measurement of flow rate of two-phase three-component medium involves calibration of sonic doppler flow meter, processing of results of calibration works, synthesis of mathematical model of two-phase three-component medium movement, determination of interval of flow rate of liquid and oil gas at which there is an allowance for calculation of flow rate of oil, water and oil gas. Interval of memory and discretisation interval of Doppler frequency shift, under which there is the minimum value of root-mean-square deviation between estimated and measured values of liquid flow rate at check points, are determined.

EFFECT: improving accuracy of measurement of two-phase three-component medium flow rate due to choice of optimum values of interval of memory and discretisation interval of Doppler frequency shift.
