SUBSTANCE: device comprises an amplitude detector, the first and second circuits, comprising serially connected an appropriate time selector, a Doppler filter and an amplitude assessment unit, the third and fourth circuits, consisting of accordingly serially connected the first low pass filter and the third amplitude assessment unit and serially connected the second low pass filter and the fourth amplitude assessment unit, the first and second comparison units, a subtraction unit, a control unit, a generator of strobes. The method is carried out by facilities of compensation of a noise component in a signal of error in measurement of mismatch of time position of a pulse of a small-size moving target and a front of tracking strobes of time selection channels, provided under effect of a passive noise, which is spatially matched with a target.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of range tracking over a small-sized moving target.
