METHOD TO CONTROL NAVIGATION SYSTEM AND NAVIGATION SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC G01S19/22

Abstract RU 2475776 C2

FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: in the method to control a carrier (P) navigation system, receiving signals from a row of transmitters (T1-T3) and arranged as capable of measurement of pseudodistance to each transmitter, angle of elevation is tested in each transmitter (T1-T3) relative to the horizontal line (H) of the carrier (P), and the navigation solution is produced on the basis of pseudodistances (Pd-a), for which the angle of elevation of the appropriate transmitter is higher than the minimum angle of elevation (Em), at the same time the method also includes identification of composite paths from pseudodistances (formula I), measured for transmitters (T3), having the angle of elevation below the minimum angle of elevation (Em) and saving permitted pseudodistances (Pd-ad) after the specified identification for production of the navigation solution. The invention also relates to a navigation system arranged as capable of realisation of the method in accordance with the first aspect of this invention.

EFFECT: provision of improvement of monitoring over navigation solution integrity.
