SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical instrument with test tape with replaceable unit (14) of test tape, which contains test tape (16), provided with a set of test elements (18), on which biological fluid can be applied, and with tape drive mechanism (12), connected with test tape unit (14), for direct test tape rewinding (16), in such a way that test elements (18) are successively delivered to place of application. In accordance with the invention it is suggested that tape drive mechanism (12) contains direct current motor (26) and reduction gear (28), installed between direct current motor (26) and test tape unit (14).
EFFECT: improvement of device construction.
