SUBSTANCE: invention relates to station (S) to fill sprayer 1 with covering material equipped with, at least, one container 10 and arranged on automatic device that may displace relative to article to be coated. Said station (S) comprises: means (121, 170-179) for connection with, at least, one circuit (20, 70-79) of covering material, mounting assembly (200) making zone (250) to receive, at least, one sprayer (1). Additionally, station (S) incorporates: at least, one accumulator (110, 120, 130, 140, 150) with volume (V₁₂₀) larger than volume (V₁₀) of container (10) or equal thereto. Note here that every accumulator (110, 120, 130, 140, 150) may be connected to, at least, one covering material circuit (20, 70-79) via connector (121, 170-179); means (125, 120.1, 120.2) to create pressure in volume (V120) of accumulator (110, 120, 130, 140, 150); means (121, 123-156, 153) to connect every accumulator (110, 120, 130, 140, 150) with mounting assembly (200); link (221, 222, 223, 224, 225) to connect mounting assembly (200) with container (10). Invention relates to method of topping-up with the help of above described device.
