FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to making flat-bottom pad-type packages to be arranged vertically on bottom transverse gasket that has no wedges and is intended for retail trade of snacks. Proposed method is implemented at vertical packing automatic machine including guide tube, bending device and two lateral bending elements.
EFFECT: package from extruded sleeve with open end in folding face seal to make multiple flaps, folding every flap downward below package bottom.
