FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Multilayer slide comprises support plate made from sheet steel, porous cermet layer made integral on support plate surface, and sliding layer. The layer is composed of composition based on synthetic resin filling cermet layer pores and covering it. Said composition comprises 5-30 wt % of barium sulphate, 1-15 wt % of magnesium silicate, 1-25 wt % of phosphate, 0.5-3 wt % of titanium oxide, PTFE resin making the rest. Said rack-and-pinion steering mechanism comprises gearbox, gear, and rack to engage with said gear. Rack rests on its guide to slide thereon. Note here that rack guide is pressed to rack by spring. Rack guide comprises main body with its surface getting into sliding contact with gearbox surface, and said multilayer slide with its thrust plate secured to rack guide body.
EFFECT: increased wear resistance of tire.
