FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: ballasting device comprises at least one loading element arranged by the method including loading of a pre-heated material containing a composition mixture of a ground binding polymer and a filler, into a moulding cavity of a die mould heated to high temperature, further closure of the die mould, maintenance under pressure and hardening. The composition mixture ingredients are selected so that the ratio of the total mass to the total volume of the loading element is more than the density of the medium, where the ballasting device is to be placed. The filler may be sand, gravel, crushed stone, slag and/or ash industry wastes, ash gravel, clay and ash aggregate, molten crushed slag. The loading element may contain inclusions of metal, ore and/or cement-containing materials.

EFFECT: prevention of ballasting device cracking under exposure to environment, reduced metal consumption for production of a ballasting device, realisation of a ballasting function.
