FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to construction and is used in constriction and repair of underwater pipelines. Cast-iron weight contains two semi-weights of cylindrical shape, internal cylindrical surface of each is provided with protruding cylindrical support belts and elements that make it possible to fix semi-weights in external surface of pipeline. In version of cast-iron weight every support belt is arranged as cylindrical in the form of annular cavity bottom with the possibility to install sealing element in it. Ratios of dimensions are given, which provide for stable location of cast-iron weights in lined surface of pipeline during its dragging.
EFFECT: increase of pipeline ballasting reliability.
