FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to continuous metal casting. This ladle comprises two metal plasma heating chambers arranged between intake and teeming compartments and separated by baffles with overflow channels. Said baffle overflow channels in heating chamber and intake compartment are located below metal level to converge toward heating chamber and directed upward. Baffle of heating chamber and teeming compartment additionally has gas overflow opening arranged above metal level. Teeming compartments and heating chamber are furnished with covers.
EFFECT: efficient heating and uniform heat distribution over metal volume.
