FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Pony ladle comprises intake and teeming chambers separated by webs and two chambers with covers arranged between said intake and teeming chambers. Covers have plasmatron mount openings. Heating chamber accommodates baffle plate arranged over ladle width, parallel with aforesaid webs, and shifted toward teeming chambers. Overflow channels in intake chamber web and teeming chamber are directed upward to horizontal plane toward heating chamber.
EFFECT: increased metal temperature in heating and teeming chambers.
