FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used for surface finishing and hardening by ultrasound oscillations. Proposed device comprises case, acoustic system composed of converter connected with waveguide, ultrasound radiator secured at waveguide end, and guide sleeve. Acoustic system is coaxially secured inside hollow piston-rod inner chamber. Said piston-rod has two thrust outer cylindrical surfaces of different diameters, and working end face formed by difference in said thrust surfaces. Larger diameter surface is conjugated with inner cylindrical surface of the case. Smaller diameter surface is conjugated with inner cylindrical surface of guide sleeve. The latter is screwed in said case. Piston-rod working end face, guide sleeve end face and case inner cylindrical surface form hydraulic chamber filled with oil. Pressure in said chamber is controlled by electronic converter built in said case to convert pressure into output analog signal of current or voltage used to visualise pressure in real time and to control processing.
EFFECT: higher quality and efficiency.
