FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly to ultrasound processing tools for strain hardening and relaxation processing of surfaces. Proposed tool comprises body, cap arranged in said body, waveguide with acoustic system fitted in said cut, elasto-inertial system representing a calibrated spring. Movable spring-loaded stop and fixed handle. One end of said calibrated spring thrusts against the body inner wall while its other end thrusts against the cup outer face. Said cup can reciprocate inside the body in key-like guides. Moving spring-loaded stop is arranged in the body to translate therein. At stop and calibrated spring working load, stop spring force is lower than that of calibrated spring.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of processing, expanded process performances.
