FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to finish-hardening of crankshafts at finishing machines. Crankshaft journals and fillets are subjected to ultrasound processing by the radiator with the head and working adapter. Said radiator is reciprocated and pressed to processed surface. Ultrasound oscillations are transmitted to said radiator via a resonance waveguide with the help of acoustic system. The radiator adapter with two spherical indenters arranged in symmetry in one horizontal plane is used. Crankshaft is revolved and fed horizontally by the grinding machine table. Ultrasound processing of the crankshaft journal cylindrical surface is performed simultaneously by two said indenters at fixed radiator head and fixed acoustic system. Ultrasound processing of the crankshaft fillet radius is performed by one of said indenters at reciprocation of radiator head with both indenters along the acoustic system axis.
EFFECT: enhanced performances.
