FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: in cooling tower sprayer made in the form of a module of layers of polymer cellular tubes, the tubes are cylindrical, arranged in all layers parallel to each other and welded along edges of the module to each other at contact points, and cavities of each of the tubes and inter-tube space is filled with hollow polymer balls; at that, ball diameter is by 5-10% bigger than maximum size of cell of tubes. Polymer cellular tubes are made in the form of cylindrical tubes, on the side surface of which there are two slots in the direction parallel to generatrixes of the cylindrical surface and a slot in the direction perpendicular to the axis of that surface. Besides, when being closed, the slots form a "П"-shaped slot; as a result, the obtained petals are bent in the direction of axis of cylindrical surface; at that, on the petals there made are bends in the form of flanges in the direction perpendicular to axis of cylindrical surface, and similar petals are made so that they are located through an angle of 90° from the previous ones.
EFFECT: improvement of cooling capacity of sprayer and reduction of material consumption.
