FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device for controlling the magnetic field of a surface (underwater) object has units for receiving signals from a navigation system and sensors for the Earth's magnetic field or sensors for the magnetic field of the object, a unit for generating a control algorithm for a system for automatic control of the magnetic field of the object, units for controlling compensators of the magnetic field of the object and a unit for distributing signals for controlling efficiency of said compensators, the device also having a unit which enables to receive and convert signals from the magnetic field sensors, mounted on a magnetic measuring stand, and a unit which enables to receive and convert signals on the current coordinates of the object and sensors for the stand, wherein the output of the unit which enables to receive and convert signals from the magnetic field sensors of the magnetic measuring stand is connected to one of the inputs of the unit for generating a control algorithm, and the output of the unit which enables to receive and convert signals on the current coordinates of the object and sensors for the stand is connected to the other input of the unit for generating a control algorithm.
EFFECT: adjustment of a system for electromagnetic compensation for the magnetic field of an object without direct involvement of the operator.
