FIELD: navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to marine equipment and is intended for navigation equipment of sea areas and ensuring the safety of navigation and determination of their coordinates at sea by waterborne vehicles (surface ships and vessels, submarines and vehicles, as well as underwater robots). In the arctic underwater navigation system for driving and navigation support of surface and underwater navigation objects in constrained navigation conditions, comprising a lead cable laid along the bottom, by means of an underwater vehicle, a coastal current generator and ship equipment, wherein the lead cable is laid along the bottom along the meridian between two reference points with known coordinates, which are established based on the results of bathymetric surveys taking into account the relief of the sea bottom and sea depths, at that, in the reference points, a reference point is pre-installed, made of reinforced concrete in the form of a truncated cone, equipped with a hollow oriented parallel to the meridian, and reflectors placed on the front and rear surfaces of the reference point, ship equipment comprises an inertial navigation system and/or a hydroacoustic log, a computing unit, which is connected by its inputs to the outputs of the inertial navigation system and/or the hydroacoustic log, lead cable is laid along the bottom in parallel to the meridian, unlike analogues and prototype, the lead cable is made of hard magnetic material of vicalloy type, magnetic field meter is made with sensitivity threshold Bmin=0.7×10-9 T in frequency range 0.1-1.0 Hz with working range of fields 20000-110000 nT.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determining coordinates of underwater mobile marine vehicles for various purposes.
