FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: automatic LV circuit breaker contains a housing including: a pair of poles, each containing the first contact and the second contact, designed so that to enable mutual connection/disconnection; a kinematic closing/opening mechanism linked to the first and the second poles to perform the contacts connection/disconnection; the first, second and third protective devices intended for activation of the kinematic mechanism disengagement and contacts opening as a result of the corresponding first, second or third situation of malfunction of the electric installation linked to the circuit breaker; a connective means connecting the kinematic closing/opening mechanism to the first, second and third protective devices. According to the invention, the first (20) and the second poles (30) of the circuit breaker (1) are positioned symmetrically to the left and to the right of the circuit breaker longitudinal axis (100) while the kinematic closing/opening mechanism (40) is positioned in the centre relative to the first and the second poles (20, 30).
EFFECT: simplification of the circuit breaker assembly inside a single space-efficient housing.
