FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Steering column lock comprises cylindrical case, key cylinder, key, cam element, stop and lever. Key cylinder is arranged in case and has hinge receive section. Key is fitted into key cylinder to lock or unlock key cylinder by turning it after fitting it therein. Cam element turns together with key cylinder. Locking element may slide in said case and be displaced on turning aforesaid cam element. Lever passes in cylinder key axial direction and may be displaced radially in cylinder key direction. Said lever comprises hinge section to be fitted in appropriate seat and may displace about said section. Locking element is shifted in unlocked position by key turn. Unlocked lever and locking element get in engagement on turning the key together with fitting the key in key cylinder to leave locking element in unlocked state. One of hinge seat section and hinge section represent a depressed section. The other said section extends toward depressed section. Extending section is retained pressed against depressed section. Hinge section represents rounded convex section with radius exceeding travel of hinge section in radial direction of key cylinder. Hinge seat section represents a depressed section larger than hinge section.

EFFECT: steering wheel locking.
