FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices intended for making lime milk from quick lime and may be used in construction, water treatment systems, chemical and food industries, metallurgy. Proposed device comprises driven mixing drum with mouth to receive quick lime arranged at an angle to horizontal line and is furnished with helicoidal screw. Finished product withdrawal assembly incorporated system to arrest green lime and foreign insoluble admixtures. Mixing drum is composed of two truncated cones connected by their larger bases. Clean water for tempering the lime is fed via finished product withdrawal assembly. Finished product withdrawal assembly comprises two-level system to arrest green lime and foreign insoluble admixtures consisting of radial and coaxial grates. Grinding bodies, e.g. metallic balls, are placed in said drum.
EFFECT: higher quality and efficiency.
