FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to protection methods of metalware against atmospheric corrosion, and namely for preservation of metalware of machine-building industry, agricultural industry and military industrial sector. Protection method of metalware stored in outdoor platforms, under shed and in a non-heated room against atmospheric corrosion involves application of an oil film; at that, film with thickness of 25-30 mcm is applied in the form of a coating from low-erucic rape oil obtained by hot pressing at the temperature of 80°C.
EFFECT: development of protection method of metalware against atmospheric corrosion by application of effective environmentally-safe technological available quickly-renewable corrosion-protection product.
