FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method for protection of carbon steel against atmospheric corrosion includes application of a coating with thickness of 90±10 mcm, containing rapeseed oil and 50±10 wt % of zinc powder.
EFFECT: method provides for multiple reconservation of a zinc-filled coating based on rapeseed oil and provides for a long period of time moderation of speed of atmospheric corrosion of carbon steel due to high tread effect.
