FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: station contains cathode production channels designed with the possibility of connection of objects protected and anode beds, a converter module including a rectifier, a pulse-width modulator, a transformer with secondary windings connected to the cathode protection channels; each of the latter consists of the following elements connected in-series: an amplifier module, a rectifier module, a filter module and an adjustable ballast module; each amplifier module is connected to the control and protection module (generating current and voltage output control signals) via the current sensor; each adjustable ballast module is connected to the control and protection module via the voltage sensor while the control and protection module is connected to the converter module.

EFFECT: invention allows to enhance the device repairability and operation reliability and cathode protection effectiveness.
