FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protection against corrosion and can be used for protection of gas pipelines, oil pipelines and other underground metal structures. Device comprises a transformer, a rectifier, a filter, anode ground leads of the main and N additional metal structures, power switches, amplifiers, integrators, pulse-width modulators, power switch control units, potential difference sensors, protective potential, potential setting device, comparators, setting point adjusters, scaling amplifiers, first and second sensors for entering and leaving the protection zone of the main and N additional protected structures by electric transport, radio transmission and radio reception units, flip-flops, protective potential adjustment setters, correction keys, adder summator, memory units and electric transport traversing registers, correction adders and potential correctors of the main and N additional protected structures.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of cathodic protection against corrosion when exposed to external electric fields from rail electric transport by fixing movement of rail electric transport in protected area and memorizing the nature of changes of electric fields from passing rail electric transport, correction of values of protective currents towards increase for reliable protection of underground metal structures during movement of rail electric transport in zone of their passage.
