FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device contains electronic unit, anode bed and reference electrode. The electronic unit contains DC source, pulse amplifier, energy accumulator, pulse former. Energy accumulator is connected to pulse amplifier. The latter one is connected to pulse former, anode bed and the structure under protection. Reference electrode is connected to pulse former. DC voltage level converter is introduced into the electronic unit and connected to energy accumulator, DC source, pulse former. DC source is connected to pulse former. The device is equipped with hydrogen absorption sensor. Pulse former is connected to hydrogen absorption sensor and the structure under protection.
EFFECT: device allows increasing accuracy of polarisation potential within the whole length of the protected section with decrease of probability of hydrogen absorption by metal of which the structure under protection is made.
