FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: input/output module for data bus capable of attachment to carrying bus and containing terminal points for connecting via wires bus users and electronic equipment that connects users with serial data bus and performed in a form of connecting clamp with integrated or fixed-on electronics, galvanic isolated optical data bus made as bi-directional optical interface, including optical information receiving channels made on the base of infrared optical photodiodes and optical information transmitting channels made on the base of infrared optical light-emitting diodes, located on both sides of the module. Power supply of module electronics and input/output charts is performed from power supply charts of input/output devices without galvanic isolation from them.

EFFECT: increase of input/output module interference protection due to presence of optical interface in module, presence of input/output optical interface allows linking together input-output systems from modules mounted on DIN rail.
