FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hand-held machines, for example, screwdrivers, nut runners or drill-screwdriver. Adapter includes detachable retainer to be secured to machine body and rotary shaft. The latter is engaged with hand-held machine drive shaft. Said retainer comprises, at least, one latch composed of ring spring. Said latch can engage with annular groove at machine body in adapter mounting. Ring spring one end is fixed in retainer. Second end of said spring may rotate about said retainer.
EFFECT: reliable fastening of adapter.
