FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing a selective sorbent for solid-phase extraction of pyrrolidone derivatives from biological fluids by radical polymerization of a functional monomer - methacrylic acid - when mixing. To obtain the sorbent, a combination of functional monomers is used – methacrylic acid of 0.25 g and diallylamine of 0.25 g; the structural monomer is acrylamide of 1.25 g. As a crosslinking agent, N, N´-methylene-bis-acrylamide of 0.25 g is used. Radical polymerization is carried out in the presence of a template - a pyrrolidone derivative of 0.25 g in an aqueous medium, followed by the addition of 0.1 g of ammonium persulfate, 100 mcl of N,N,N´, N´-tetramethylethylenediamine and further cooling at +8ºC. The sorbent is ground, washed with isopropyl alcohol and chloroform to remove the template from the sorbent pores, dried at room temperature to a constant mass and re-ground to a particle size of 500 mcm.
EFFECT: increased selectivity of the resulting sorbent.
