FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: what is presented is a method for prediction of recurrences in patients with acute leukemia. Peripheral blood lymphocytes are examined for activity of glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (G3PDG) and NADP-dependent malate dehydrogenase (NADPMDG). If G3PDG activity falling within 0 to 0.02 mcE is combined with NADPMDG activity falling within 0.25 to 6.21 mcE, the onset of a recurrence in the patients with acute leukaemia is predicted.
EFFECT: invention enables well-timed diagnosis of progressive acute leukaemia, corrected treatment plan and approach in the given category of patients and improved rehabilitation effects.
