FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: optic splitter (1) has the following connections: optic fibre (2) of communication cable, which is free from communication signals, which is arranged on OTL or built in a lightning cable, as well as shaper (3) of laser pulse sounding optic fibre (2), the first optic detector (4) receiving Rayleigh back scattering component, the second optic detector (5) receiving anti-Stokes component of Raman back scattering component, and the third optic detector (8) receiving Brillouin back scattering component. Input of laser pulse shaper (3) and outputs of detectors (4) and (5) are connected to control and processing unit (6) that shapes reflectograms as to output signal of each of detectors (4), (5), (8) and determines intensity of acoustic and temperature effects on optic fibre and their place in power transmission line route. Control optic fibre (9) equipped with temperature sensor (10), the output of which is connected to unit (6), is connected to optic splitter (1).
