SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of: accessing stored access information for a small base station, the stored access information containing supplied information for the small base station and location information corresponding to the small base station, and the small base station being associated with a small base station user zone, and the small base station user zone being associated with a macrosystem; proximity to the small base station is determined based on at least location information as a scanning and acquisition trigger condition; and the small base station is scanned and acquired using the stored access information.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of user equipment owing to acquisition of a small base station based on location, the small base station being associated with a small base station user zone and the small base station user zone being associated with a macrosystem.
