FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture and can be used on an industrial vineyard. The method of forming vines on type of two-tier spiral cordon includes single-lane vertical two-tier trellis, with alternating adjacent bushes in a row with the stem height of 90…120 and 140…170 cm. The cordon arms are placed horizontally on a trellis wire through the bush at different heights, on which horns with short knots are created as fruit formations. Vegetative shoots with the yield developed from overwintering eyes, hang down freely from both tiers of trellis wires. Planting of bushes is carried out with the scheme of placing 3×1.25…1.5 m. By the start of the second vegetation the monoplanar four-tier trellis is mounted, the pegs of different heights are placed near every bush, alternating every other bush - 1.0 and 1.8 m above the soil surface. The lower tier of the wire is fixed at a height of 90…100 cm from the soil surface, the following three tiers are fixed respectively by 25, 30 and 30 cm from each other. During the second vegetation on every bush one more developed shoot is left to create a vertical stem. After the second vegetation they are cut, alternating every other bush to a height of stem of 90…100 and 120…125 cm from the soil surface. Then in the beginning of the third vegetation, after budding at the upper part of each of each stem two shoots are left to form cordon arms which are fixed horizontally to the trellis wire on the first and second tiers. By the end of the vegetation they are shortened to the required length. During the fourth and subsequent vegetations the shoots that developed on the cordon arms of the first tier freely hang down, and the shoots that developed on the cordon arms of the second tier are fixed to the wires of the two upper tiers. Annual matured shoots are cut annually for 1-2 eyes that developed on the cordon arms of both tiers.
EFFECT: method enables to improve the productivity of vineyards, as well as to create optimal light conditions and increases the photosynthetically active radiation.
