FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine and can be used at stations of blood transfusion, in surgical and resuscitation departments of hospitals and clinics, as well as in medical research institutions. Device for freezing blood components, placed in polymeric containers, contains consisting of two connected to each other by means of hinge, parts, thermally isolated case with lock, control system, two temperature sensors, two units of semiconductor thermal batteries based on Peltier elements, unit of emergency alarm and recordation of process parameters, connected with system of visual and sound alarm and sensor of circuit voltage, sensor of door position and electric power supply source. Working chamber, shape of internal surface of which repeats shape of external surface of polymeric container with blood components, is placed in thermally isolated case. Device additionally contains first and second systems of forced air cooling, with each of units of semiconductor thermal batteries based on Peltier elements being in direct thermal contact with respective part of working chamber; in each of two parts of thermally isolated case made are through air channels, connected with respective systems of forced air cooling.

EFFECT: invention ensures high rate of freezing with low energy consumption.
