FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to screening rocks and construction materials, crushing and sorting jobs, and screen sizing of construction materials. Proposed screen comprises trough closed on all sides with helical hollow drums arranged in tiers, one above the other, vibroexciters and elastic elements, loose material loaders and unloaders. Every drum is composed of, at least, one perforated strip coiled in helical turns interconnected in strip lengthwise edges and bent at angle to flexure lines to make unidirectional helical lines and surfaces representing perforated polygonal pockets. Distance between flexure lines equal the length of every element of polygon. Note here that said pockets on inner surface differ in sixes and shape from those on outer surface.
EFFECT: expanded performances and higher efficiency.
