FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the paint industry, particularly compositions and methods of producing water-resistant anticorrosion primers for protecting corroded surfaces of different metals and alloys before subsequent application of paint coatings or as independent protective coating. The method of making gradient coatings involves mixing components which comprise epoxy resin, a pigment, glycidyl ether of phosphoric acid and a curing agent, and applying onto the surface. The epoxy resin is first mixed with the pigment, followed by addition of the glycidyl ether of phosphoric acid in which in which a complexing agent - disodium salt of 3,5-pyrocatechin-disulphonic acid (tiron) is dissolved and the curing agent. The mixture is held until a given degree of demixing is achieved and then cured. The glycidyl ether of phosphoric acid used is either triglycidyl phosphate or diglycidyl phosphate or diglycidyl methylphosphonate.
EFFECT: reduced viscosity of the obtained composition and high resistance of the coating to aggressive media.
