SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protecting a metal base from corrosion by applying a corrosion-protective system thereon. The system contains at least one coating applied onto the base which consists of an organic matrix in which anticorrosion pigments are dispersed. The pigments are formed by an alloy of at least two metals and inevitable impurities. The organic matrix is a primer for a multilayer paint coat and/or an anticorrosion primer for a multilayer paint coat and/or coloured lacquer for a multilayer paint coat and/or finish lacquer for multilayer paint coat and/or lacquer for coating metal and/or an adhesive for gluing metal sheets and/or oil and/or wax and/or an oil-wax emulsion.
