SUBSTANCE: in the method metadata is read from a data medium, and read metadata is saved in a reproduction device. A disc library is generated, using metadata recorded into a storage module. Metadata contains a volume identifier, which indicates, whether audio visual data creates a volume. Also metadata contains the first element, indicating the number of data media making a volume, and the second element indicating a position of a data medium in this volume.
EFFECT: storage space saving and higher searching efficiency.
