SUBSTANCE: invention relates to information storage medium for storing metadata, which support several languages, and to a device for processing metadata. A metadata file contains several language files, in which there are various versions associated with information resources, written in several languages, and the languages are identified by names of corresponding language files. Names of language files can include a language identifier. The information can also include loading information, associated with several loaded metadata files, which can be loaded from another storage medium. Accordingly, with reference to the list of supported languages, it is possible to provide the user with several versions of metadata, written in one or more languages, and load metadata written in the desired language from a remote server to a display device with limited memory resources.
