PULSE TRANSFORMER Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC H01F19/00 H01F27/28 H01F27/08

Abstract RU 2547809 C2

FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical equipment, to pulse transformers and can be used for creation of a powerful pulse power supply with high specific power. The pulse transformer contains a magnetic conductor, cooling elements, heat-removing buses and coils, for example, from a foil with interlayered and interturn insulation. The magnetic conductor is made of magnetically soft material with high magnetic permeability and low specific losses, dismountable, square section and is divided into two U-shaped halves. As a cooling elements in the transformer the cooling plates are used. From two sides the transformer is rigidly clamped between two cooling plates. In places of thermal contacts, such as magnetic conductor - winding, winding - cooler, plastic electric insulating heat-conducting gaskets are installed. The heat-removing buses connected to the cooling plates are pressed to the protruding parts of the transformer core through heat-conducting gaskets. The tank formed by plates and additional walls is filled with a heat-conducting compound. Each coil contains, at least, one primary winding and, at least, one secondary winding, with galvanic separation between them.

EFFECT: increase of specific power due to minimising of additional losses in windings at high frequencies, providing high efficiency of magnetic conductor window with minimum turn length, and also due to ensuring of efficient cooling.
