FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a hopper of plant potato, tuber-conducting tubes and deepening means. The working body of the deepening means is a wheel having chambers formed pairwise by hingedly mounted solid blades. The blades are mounted with the possibility of exposure to them by feeler units. The feeler units provide half open position of the chambers at the top when loading with potato tubers, closed position when moving down and half opening at their placing under the layer of soil. The hopper of plant potato is mounted on a trellis girder. The number of the tuber-conducting tubes corresponds to the number of working bodies. The device has the means to load the tubers in each chamber.
EFFECT: claimed constructive implementation enables to simplify the design and to increase reliability.
