FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surgery, and may be used for terminal colostomy. A cuff to surround the ostomy intestine is formed from the abdominal cavity with using an alloplastic pre-cut in the form of a base portion and five strips. The base portion is wrapped and secured by seromuscular sutures around the ostomy intestine from the abdominal cavity to overlap the mesentery and to be held in several points on the avascular area by interrupted sutures; the strips are fixed to the parietal peritoneum around the colostomy wound, with the middle strip placed on the antimesenteric portion of the intestine brought-out.
EFFECT: method enables reducing the risk of the retroperitoneal fat infection, reduce the risk of the postoperative intestinal prolapse.
