FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely dentistry, and aims at estimating the effectiveness of teeth migration. Anatomical jaws are imprinted to cast diagnostic dental models. A dentition model wherein a migrating tooth is found is used to make a diagnostic tray. Before the beginning of treatment, a corrective imprint silicone paste is introduced into the internal surface of the diagnostic tray and distributed over all the surfaces. The tray is applied on the dentition and tightly pressed thereto. After the paste is hard, the tray is removed from the oral cavity. The imprint is removed from the tray and saved. After the beginning of tooth migration, by applying the therapeutic tray on the opposite dentition and rebasing the tray by means of biologically inert materials layered on an occlusion surface of the therapeutic tray within an attachment point with the opposite projected tooth, the position change of the projected tooth is described by the same technique as before the treatment.

EFFECT: method enables eliminating the use of calculation procedures and radiation exposure on the patient when estimating the effectiveness of teeth migration due to the comparative analysis of the imprints.
