FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely dentistry and is applicable in orthopaedic and orthodontic practice in treating deformities of teeth and dental arches. Silicone corrective impression paste is preliminary introduced into a tooth cell. A diagnostic dentogingival tray of the thickness of 0.5 mm is fixed on the dental arch. The above silicone corrective impression paste is introduced into the deformed tooth cell every time before, during and after the treatment. The teeth imprints are scanned. They are presented as 3D models. A computer program is used to measure the volume and thickness of the 3D model. The derived values are compared, and the dental displacement is corrected at each stage of the treatment.
EFFECT: method enables correcting doctor's manipulations at all the stages of the treatment, eliminating additional harm to the patient's health due to the possibility to predict the clinical outcome and to eliminate the use of X-ray apparatuses.
