SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to orthopaedic dentistry, maxillofacial prosthetics, and is used to treat patients with no teeth on the upper or lower jaw. Frame individualized impression tray is made of a photopolymer plate and contains a rigid plastic frame in the form of a standard impression tray with retention points. Photopolymer plate is applied on the inner surface of the frame, attached to the retention points and crimped around the patient’s jaw.
EFFECT: fast and high-quality impression of the patients with complete or partial absence of teeth on the jaw, at the first doctor's appointment, accurate transfer of the jaw relief and minimization of the impression material shrinkage, due to which the prosthesis manufacturing is accelerated and the number of prosthesis corrections is minimized.
