FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, and more specifically to physiotherapy and may be used for the purpose of therapeutic electrophoresis. The apparatus comprises a medical syringe which contains a cylindrical body, a piston within the cylindrical body and provided with a pusher, a metal needle attached to an end face of the cylindrical body, a power source that is presented in the form of a galvanic battery, a control unit that is used as a power button, a shell ring enclosing the cylindrical body, and two electrodes made of conductive material electrically wired with the electrical battery and the power button with the latter being placed under the shell ring. Each electrode is presented in the form of a semi-cylindrical surface formed by spraying a conductive material on an internal surface of the cylindrical body and electrically isolated from the other semi-cylindrical surface by two non-conductive gaps geometrically representing opposing generatrices of the internal surface of the cylindrical body.
EFFECT: higher quality and effectiveness of the therapeutic electrophoresis procedures.
