FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed welding equipment may be used for butt welding of multiple blanks B arranged in opposition. Coordinate stations 4, 6 serve to accommodate separate blanks. Welding station 2 has welding head. First table 10 and second table 12 can displace between welding station 2 and coordinate stations 4, 6.When first table 10 displaces to coordinate station 4, second table 12 shifts to first station 2, while when first table displaces to welding station 2 second table 12 shifts to coordinate station 6. Thus, blanks may be welded together by welding wore to make finished product. In compliance with first version, first coordinate table is located on one side of welding station and second table is located on opposite side. Note here that first and second coordinate tables are located at one height in one plane. In compliance with second version, coordinate station is located on one side of welding station while first and second tables displace in appropriate paths differing in height.
EFFECT: simplified design, higher efficiency.
