FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of containers from blanks of cardboard-based material. It comprises container case forming unit to form cylindrical case of at least flat blank of multilayer material including cardboard bearing layer and layer suitable for soldering. Soldering unit is configured to allow attachment of end cover to container case. Note here that said soldering unit comprises generator of welding inducible power for smelting of layer suitable for soldering. Device comprises carrier to transfer the flow of case blanks to container case forming unit, transfer of said flow from said unit to soldering unit and transfer of container case flow provided with end covers from said soldering unit. Note here that said carrier comprises first moving gripper to hold at least two container vessels and to carry them to said soldering unit. Besides, it comprises device for positioning and transfer of container vessels from aforesaid unit to first moving gripper and vessel case positioner to allow first moving gripper to grip at least two vessel cases. Invention relates also to operation of above described device.

EFFECT: soldering unit allows simultaneous attachment of end cover to each of said two vessel cases.
