FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to traumatology. Shantz rod is introduced into calcanean tuber and its reposition is performed with respect to heel bone body. Single fragment is formed from calcanean tuber and heel bone by means of pin, passed in sagittal plane. Additional pin is passed on upper edge of pin earlier passed in frontal plane. After that, second additional pin is passed in frontal plane through lower third of tibia. Distractor is formed from two semicircles. Distraction of heel bone fragments is performed until space is formed in subtalar joint. Awl is introduced from sole side of foot in direction of compressed part of joint, awl is replaced with impactor. Displacement of fragments of subtalar joint from bottom to top is realised, and in case of necessity small fragments are repositioned by means of awl, fracture fixation is carried out.
EFFECT: space is created in subtalar joint for efficient orientation of joint surface in it in case of any type of heel bone fractures, which makes it possible to restore bone anatomy.
